My Kitchen

Southsea

This summer I decided after designing kitchens for other people for 14 years it was time to do my own. I've lived in the house for 5 years and the kitchen was the last room to do. I'm a keen cook so I had some real issues with the existing kitchen. I had a small under counter fridge, with no freezer in the kitchen, no room for a bin, no storage for spices etc. I planned the space out to include a tall fridge freezer, integrated 2 part bin and pull out baskets. The finished kitchen really has transformed the house and the way I cook. It really has added value, not only to our house, but also our lifestyle.

Pauls Kitchen

Paul had some ideas on what he wanted but was unsure how to get the best out of the space. We went back forth a few times to get this one right. After he had decided on the layout I arranged for him to meet the designer and he chose the colours and finishing touches and within a few months the kitchens was finished

Laura & Emily

Laura & Emily are first time homeowners and wanted to give their kitchen a facelift but had no idea where to start and no idea what they wanted. After the home visit we talked about a few options to improve the layout, like moving the fridge freezer and moving the microwave off the worktop to give them more space. Small kitchens can often be the most challenging but this one was great to work with and I love the finished pictures

Laura & Andy

After seeing a shared Facebook post Laura got in touch to see if I could help her come up with some ideas for her new kitchen. She wanted to knock out the wall dividing her kitchen and dining room to create an open space. I sent over some ideas and once we got the layout right I went about getting design & quotes. Once she had all the designs back they went out to visit the showrooms. Once they had decided on where to buy, they decided to out source their worktops and appliances. The kitchen was completed just in time for Christmas so keep swiping to see the end results!

Phil & Nicky

Phil & Nicky were recommended to get in touch with me to see if I could help them plan out their new kitchen. They had decided to steal some space from their living room to offer some space in the kitchen for a dining table for the whole family to sit at. The general layout of the kitchen actually worked ok, it was more a case of working out what to do to maximise storage and give them everything they needed. When they were both happy with the layout I got 3 sets of designs and quotes for them to consider based on the spec they had agreed. They decided to visit the showrooms and soon after made an easy decision to move forward with Benchmarx.

The kitchen was completed in December and they very happy with the overall results!

Kent

My clients were in the process of looking at how the can update their exiting kitchen as well as knocking out some existing walls to open up the space. The property is an old Oast house in rural Kent. They wanted to get some ideas on how to make use of the space as with limited ceiling heights and lots of windows and doors to consider. I approached a bespoke kitchen company to help with this one as it needed more than one designer to really make the space work. It's still very much a work in progress but still an exciting one to be involved in

Here are some before and after pictures for my clients Kitchen design. The first design they had prior to using my services had left them disappointed, after a few tweaks we managed to get a layout they were both happy with.

They are still win the process of saving for their kitchen so this will be a new year project

Southsea

Paul & Jess were recomended by a friend to contact me regarding their new kitchen. They had recently moved in to the house and the kitchen was in need of modernisation. With the age of the property and the fact the kitchen is located in the basement we had to mindful of keeping character and keeping light. We came up with the layout they were happy with and got the kitchen suppliers designs drawn up. Here are a few examples from different designers based on the same layout. The customer has since put the project on hold due to other jobs to do in the house first. One to watch for in the future!
